Raise Your Spirits

Led by a costumed 78th Highlander, this guided experience explores the role of alcohol in British military life, from daily rations to morale on the front lines. Along the way, you’ll hear the stories behind the traditions, the tensions and the rituals that shaped life at the fort.

The experience concludes with a curated tasting of three exclusive Halifax Citadel-aged spirits, Noon Gun Gin, Daily Ration Rum and Granite & Grain Whisky, crafted in partnership with award-winning Compass Distillers and paired with a locally inspired charcuterie board.
